Last weekend I took a trip to the Glendale Galleria and there was this amazing sale at bcbgeneration, so I took advantage of it. I bought two things, but I have gotten plenty of use out of them already. Thing one!

A leather bracelet that says “Fierce”. It was 18 dollars, so I had to get it. PLUS its rose gold, which I love, so it gave me another reason to buy it.

Thing two!

A red tee that says, in very small writing, “Bruised, Not Broken” .  This was 25 dollars. I am going to wear it with leggings and a black studded motorcycle jacket, and flats.

So there. Not really a fashion haul, but I like them. I think they’re super cute.

Do you take advantage of sales?

Right now, I am obsessing over studded shorts. Seeing them all over instagram makes the obsession even worse. Aren’t they just SO cute? I know that most of them were handmade, and I know you can buy them on etsy. I just thought I would share a load of cute pictures for others to drool over.

I think the first pair below is entirely too short but still cute.

okay, so there. I plan on making a pair because I love them too much not to.

By the way, how have you guys been? I haven’t posted in months, school was hectic and summer has been very busy.

Do you like studded shorts? :)

Leopard print: my new obsession. When I see leopard print, I envision a white blouse, red lipstick, winged liner, and a curly updo. This print is so classic, and when used properly, it can make a simple outfit absolutely glam.

I like that this scarf is really bulky, and the fact that her hair is up makes it perfect.

YSL scarf. Swoon.

I love these flats. The red accent is such a great idea! I would shrink the bow-ish-thing  down a couple sizes, but I love the concept.

There are so many gorgeous leopard print clutches an purses out there, but I decided to choose this Zara clutch. I really  like the proportions. (The placement of the flap, the button, etc.)

Is it totally lame that I put an umbrella on here? No. No it isn’t. I think that this would look really fab with a red trench and black jeans. Yeah.

What do you envision when you see leopard print?

Meow.

Not only is Lauren Conrad a great actress and author, she has incredible style. Whatever she wears, she makes it look so effortless and yet she looks so gorgeous. Whether the outfit is an pair of flats, jeans, and a white tee or a beautiful floral skirt, she looks classy and put together.

I love that blue dress.

That Chanel purse is gorgeous, and I love the gray oxford in the first outfit.

This is so effortlessly cool! The jeans are so dark and the white tee is so crisp. I love how she matched the brown belt and her bag just perfectly, and kept the shoes neutral.

The skirt is (properly) the focal point of this look. Everything is perfect. And I think we all know that her legs are fabulous.

Whatever she is wearing, she looks amazing. I have a feeling she really likes blue and black together, and they look great on her.

So, there you go. I would wear everything that Lauren Conrad wears, and for the most part, I feel as if we have the same style. But I envy her wardrobe.

Happy Saturday!

For the last four years, I have been faithfully purchasing Seventeen Magazine every month and reading each issue over and over until they were memorized. Each time I looked at the fashion section, I thought, “When am I ever going to wear that?!”, but still thinking that since it was Seventeen, so of course it HAD to be amazing.  Taking a closer look at every issue, they LOVE to mix different things. For example, they really press mixing prints. Which is totally fine! I love mixing prints. But they take it to a new extreme. To be honest, I have never worn anything relatively close to any of their outfits, as most of them are sort of outrageous.

Don’t get me wrong, I love when they talk DIY and have new hairstyles and new ways to wear your clothes. But something about it, I’m not sure. I think I’m moving on to “older” magazines. Hello, Lucky, Marie Claire and In Style! I feel these help me more with my fashion, as I like more timeless pieces rather than the latest, of-the-moment style tips that Seventeen provides.

Thank you, Seventeen. You got me started on my fashion obsession, and I will always love you for that. Sadly, I think I’m growing up, therefore I am moving on.

I think I might have made that more emotional than I needed to. But you guys catch my drift.

Happy Monday! [Not.]

There are so many ways to wear and tie your scarves, from wearing them on your head to tying them on your purse. Here are some different ways.

Way 1- Tie your scarf in a knot. This is extremely simple.

Way 2-Wear your scarf as a tie.

Way 3-Wear your scarf  as a headband

Way 4- Tie a knot at each end of the scarf, and just drape it over your neck, untied.

Way 5- Wrap the scarf around your neck…simple…I know.

Way 6- If the scarf is silk, then wrap it around your neck multiple times.

Way 7- Just google “Different ways to wear a scarf”. It would probably go into more detail than me.

Happy Monday!
