This band.

This amazing band.

I love this amazing band.

This band that I’m talking about it The Cab, who just released their album, Symphony Soldier. My favorite song on their album is Bad. My obsession is bad.ImageImage And there’s their single.

My life is complete, I’ve found the perfect band. [Except for Sara Bareilles, who I will always love.]

I just so happened to stumble upon this amazing website. I’m not sure what the point of it is, I just think people post things on it? I sound really dumb. But you take a look and tell me what it is. http://indulgy.com/ is what it is!

It is so cute. I will share it with you.

Mobile Love

I have to do a book report for english, and I am going to do a mobile. So I looked up “cute mobile ideas” on google and this is what came up. And now I guess I have to make all of them. :]

This is my new room project. It looks like paper taped to the wall! Its GENIUS!!!

To do: Go to thrift store, buy a book, cut out hearts. Make mobile. lovelovelove.

This one here looks like its going to take a lot of time. Butterfly die-cuts and lots of ribbon. Fishing line. oohhh.

I’ve known about this song since it first came out, but today I had my ipod on shuffle, and it came on and I remembered how much I love it. [Don’t ask me how I forgot it.]

This song is absolutely incredible. What song is this, you ask? Winter Song, by Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson.

Every time I listen to it, I am so overwhelmed with their beautiful harmony. Its just so pure, you know? There are absolutely no imperfections.

I just thought I would share it with you! If you haven’t heard it, I think you should go listen to it, and possibly purchase it.

How is your Tuesday so far? Mine was ehh. This song cheered me up. :]

For the last four years, I have been faithfully purchasing Seventeen Magazine every month and reading each issue over and over until they were memorized. Each time I looked at the fashion section, I thought, “When am I ever going to wear that?!”, but still thinking that since it was Seventeen, so of course it HAD to be amazing.  Taking a closer look at every issue, they LOVE to mix different things. For example, they really press mixing prints. Which is totally fine! I love mixing prints. But they take it to a new extreme. To be honest, I have never worn anything relatively close to any of their outfits, as most of them are sort of outrageous.

Don’t get me wrong, I love when they talk DIY and have new hairstyles and new ways to wear your clothes. But something about it, I’m not sure. I think I’m moving on to “older” magazines. Hello, Lucky, Marie Claire and In Style! I feel these help me more with my fashion, as I like more timeless pieces rather than the latest, of-the-moment style tips that Seventeen provides.

Thank you, Seventeen. You got me started on my fashion obsession, and I will always love you for that. Sadly, I think I’m growing up, therefore I am moving on.

I think I might have made that more emotional than I needed to. But you guys catch my drift.

Happy Monday! [Not.]

So I absolutely loved Louise Rennison’s first series, The Confessions of Georgia Nicolson, and I mean I LOVED it. I’m actually re-reading it as we speak. (or read, or write, or…) This book, Withering Tights, is such a great read! It was hilarious, just as I suspected from good old Louise, and it was very cute. If you liked the confessions, you sure will love this. Although, I must say, The Confessions of Georgia Nicolson will always hold a special place in my heart as my favourite books of all time.

Right, well there you go! This book is fabbity fab, and I simply can’t wait for the next one.

Happy Sunday! :]
